O passado vive no presente
y ambos viven no futuro,
por eso cambiá lo que existe
pode ser un poco duro.

The past lives in the present
and both live in the future,
for that reason changing what exists
can be a bit hard.

QUATRAINS DE NOSSA SENHORA

XXI.
O corpo se cambia
como ropa gastada,
y se viven otras vidas
quando ésta é terminada.

The body is changed
like worn-out clothes,
and other lives are lived
when this one is finished.

XXII.
O corpo é un disfarce,
non é o centro,
porque continúa
lo que vive dentro.

The body is a disguise,
it isn't the center,
because that continues
which lives inside.

Reconozco y conjuro
o passado no presente
y o presente no futuro,
todos ainda esistente.

I recognize and conjure
the past in the present
and the present in the future,
all still existing.
