123,000 Visits, One Dictionary, and One New Photo

Greetings! We have just passed the milestone of 123,000 visits to this blog. A lot of that, these days, comes from a single user in the USA. My theory is that the person is planning piracy, or perhaps working on a PhD dissertation. It could also be monitoring by some governmental agency. Not that that makes any sense, but they do hate secrecy, and may think that my Udugi language is secret. It isn't--a Cherokee speaker can understand 80% of it without prior study.

About a year and a half ago, on May 26, 2020, to be exact, I published a dictionary of my Udugi language, followed by a sketch of the grammar. It has occurred to me that accesses of this file could serve as an indicator is relative interest/use of the language. So here is the chart;

It seems as though there has been an uptick in interest recently, and this is in agreement with my own intuition on the matter,

As always, I would like to thank all of you for your continued interest in the blog. Thank you. Wadó. ᏩᏙ'.
