Seventy-seven summers have warmed him,
seventy-seven autumns have invigorated him,
seventy-seven winters have put caution
in his step, and seventy-seven springs
have made him always young.

Soixante-dix-sept étés l'ont réchauffé,
soixante-dix-sept automnes l'ont revigoré,
soixante-dix-sept hivers ont mis en garde
son pas, et soixante-dix-sept printemps
l'ont fait toujours jeune.
