Chief among the witches' tools,
the athame does not suffer fools.
You do not come to it,
it comes to you.
You do not choose it,
it chooses you.
Among the elements,
athame is air,
and even after long disuse,
its power is there.
Some say that athame
symbolizes intellect,
but I say it symbolizes
love,
and there is nothing
more powerful.
