"Cleave the wood, I am there;
lift up the stone, and you will find Me."
Gospel of Thomas 77b / Logia 30b
If the Spirit is anywhere at all, then S/He is everywhere.
Or, as naked, God-intoxicated Lalla wrote, "the sun shines equally on all."
Let us act in the same way. For a better world.

Cleave is an intriguing word, a contranym, which holds opposite meanings.
The two meanings, "stick (to)" and "split," were originally two different verbs. They are fused together in a single spelling in modern English. My choice of the word was influenced by one of the standard translations of the Gospel of Thomas. I could as well have said "split," as some other translations do. Thank you for commenting and reminding me of this blog post.
