This is the first in the series of yoga meditation photos that I shot today. It's even weirder than the others, and believe me, none of it was intentional. Such a thing has only happened to me once before, and in that case the subject matter was also Hinduism.
On the earlier occasion (about seven or eight years ago), the result was the picture below. There is a "ghost" image above me in the background. Also, if you look closely, it looks like I was wearing tilak (ritual markings made of sandal paste) on my forehead, which I wasn't. The only decoration I was wearing was a string of rudraksha beads.
I'm a good photographer, but wouldn't know how to get such effects, and no one could have been more surprised than I was. If anyone has thoughts, comments are welcome. Mystery solved: In the recent case, at least, it was just sunlight reflecting off a wet palmetto.
