I Have Seen Whitegate

I have seen Whitegate
and Ballycotton,
Aghada, Cobh,
and Guileen,
following my grandmother's
footsteps around
East Cork.

But it is only now,
sitting in the sun
on a quiet bench
in Midleton,
that I
am home.
