आपदं न च पश्यन्ति शोकदुःखभयङ्करीम् || 7 ||
na tEShAM jAyatE kiJNchidashubhaM raNasaN^kaTE |
ApadaM na cha pashyanti shokaduHkhabhayaN^karIm || 7 ||

no inauspiciousness will overcome them amid the danger of war,
nor will they see any misfortune causing grief, hardship, or fear.
