tsa:mar chatàr rath simha:san,
hla:d na:Ti-ras tulà-paryankh |
kya: ma:nith yati sthir a:sàvun,
kavà zanà ka:siy marànàny Sankh ||
Crown, canopy,
chariot, and throne,
merry-making, dancing,
and a soft bed--
which one of these
do you think could last,
and take away
the fear of death?
