I Speak

I speak for three-quarters of a century,
but I also speak for eons,
for more than one culture,
for more than one race,
for more than one language,
and perhaps
for more than one
universe,
for more than one
space-time
continuum,
for alternate
realities
and destinies.
We are here
to be free.

We are here
to be free.

I read nature like a book,
eagerly awaiting
the next page,
the next chapter.

Psalm 100

Shout to the Lord,
all the earth!

Serve the Lord in joy!
Enter his presence with exultation!

Know that the Lord is God.
He made us, not we ourselves,
his people and the sheep
of his pasturing.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
his courts with praise.
Thank him, and bless his name.

For the Lord is good,
his mercy is forever,
and his faithfulness
for all generations.

One-Stop Reincarnation Body Shop

There they were,
most as naked as
I, with youthful
bodies, fresh and
unmarred;
a young man,
a teenage girl,
children
of both sexes.
I will have decisions
to make next time around,
but in the end,
does it matter?
There is so much
potential
in all of us.
