December 8th, 2024

Today, my love, would have been
our forty-fifth anniversary,
but you could only stay
for forty-four.
Betty and I walked down
to the beach,
an eighty-two-year-old man
and an eleven-and-a-half-year-old
dog. You, disembodied,
were with us.
The beach at Parque
del Plata is one we
first walked on in 2012,
before we bought our house
in Atlántida.
Today the beach was clean,
and full of your presence.
Betty and I walked
almost to the second
lifeguard station,
about as far as an old man
and an old dog can.
I didn't find many shells,
but I found something more precious:
you, for the first time in years,
were able to walk
with us.

To answer your questions, I am a multidimensional personality essence composed of several souls operating together as a group. The name "Alan" is for your convenience. We are Pleiadian, and we are part of the Earth Council. Our concern at this time is to aid and guide the shift of consciousness that is taking place on Earth. This is a very critical point in the process, but victory of the light over the dark forces of separation is, we believe, now assured.

We have been interacting with Earth humans for thousands of years. We are related to you. We prepared Earth for you, including the provision of your food crops. We will not abandon you. You are about to become what you potentially have been, and you will enter into a Golden Age of love, light, peace, and unity. I am Alan, and I am with you.

We see you and your efforts to shift your consciousness, raising your frequency. This is done primarily through positivity. It is love and the sense of unity with others and with all of life in the cosmos that raises your frequency. This is happening on a massive scale at this time, and it is bringing about the demise of the old paradigm, and the formation of the New Earth. It is something that you all are doing--we can help and guide, but we cannot do this for you--it is not permitted. I am Alan, and I am with you and wish you peace.

There are some events coming that will bring chaos to your world. This is chaos that will lead to peace and unity. This is the planetary shift or ascension process. It cannot be stopped now, there is no turning back. Your old Earth paradigm will give way to a new one, the New Earth. This will, in turn, lead to a Golden Age of love, unity, and peace. Audiam Quid Loquatur - II

 

This is a re-do and expansion of something I posted in June of 2021. At the time, I liked the verse, but I didn't realize that there was more to say about it.

This verse, which I quoted from De imitatione christi, is from the Septuagint (LXX). In translation it says: "I will hear what the Lord God speaks in me, for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints, and to those who turn their hearts toward him." This is also the gist of the Vulgate version, which was translated by St. Jerome from the LXX.

But the Masoretic text, centuries newer than the LXX, has: "Let me hear what God, the Lord, will speak; he will promise well-being to his people, his faithful ones; may they not turn to folly."

The newer, Masoretic text takes away everything that I liked about the older, LXX version. First of all, it omits the phrase "in me," which bespeaks mysticism, always distrusted by institutional religion (but very dear to me). Then it (the JPS English translation) changes "peace" to "well-being." The Hebrew of the Masoretic text clearly says, "peace." Peace is also very dear to me, though apparently not a popular value these days, when war appears to be the solution for everything.

"His faithful ones" are actually "his 'devout,' or 'devoted' ones, even according to the Masoretic Hebrew. Lastly, "may they not turn to folly is, indeed, what the Masoretic Hebrew says, but the older Hebrew text underlying the LXX obviously said "and to those who turn their hearts to him," which is the reading of both LXX and Vulgate. I prefer the older reading because it is more positive, as befits a loving God.

And this, in a nutshell, is the bone I have to pick with modern Bible translations. They have changed many things where there was no need to change, except for fashion or socio-political considerations. These changes make the world a colder, less generous, and more warlike place.
