I lift my eyes to the hills--
from where will my help come?
My help is from the Lord,
who made the heavens and the earth.
He will not let your foot slip,
he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who guards Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your guardian,

the Lord is your shadow

at your right hand.

By day the sun will not strike you,

nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you

from all evil,

he will guard

your life.

The Lord will guard

your going out

and your coming in,

from now

and forever.

ᎠᏯ ᎠᏌᎳᏙᏓᏎ ᎠᏆ ᎠᎦᏙᎵᏗᏁ ᎦᏚᏏᏗ ᏗᏜ--

ᎯᎪᏩᏛ, ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎠᎦᏘᏯᏓᏎ ᎢᏏᎵᏱᏁ
Ꮭ ᎦᎸᏙᏎ ᎠᎴ Ꮭ ᎦᏟᎰᏎ.
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎨᏒᎠᏎ ᏂᎯ ᎠᎦᏘᏯ,
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎨᏒᎠᏎ ᏂᎯ ᎤᏓᏴᎳᏛ
ᏂᎯ ᎠᎦᏘᏏ ᎤᏬᏰᏂ ᎾᎿᎢ.
ᎢᎦ-ᎭᏫᎾ ᏅᏓ Ꮭ ᎬᎾᏍᏙᏎ ᏂᎯᏁ,
ᎠᎴ Ꮭ ᏅᏓ ᏒᏃᎡᎯ ᏒᏃᏱ-ᎭᏫᎾ
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎦᏘᏯᏙᏎ ᏂᎯᏁ
ᏂᎦᏛ ᎤᏐᏅᎢ ᏂᏛᎴᏅᏓ,
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎦᏘᏯᏙᏎ
ᏂᎯ ᎥᎴᏂᏙᎲᏁ.
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎦᏘᏯᏙᏎ ᏂᎯ ᎠᎾᎩᏍᏙᏁ

I Have the Strength of Ages / ᎠᏯ ᎤᎭᏎ ᏄᎵᏂᎬᎬᏁ ᏗᏓᎴᏂᏍᎬᏗ ᎥᎿᎢ

I have the strength of ages,
and cannot be contained
in any vision
of the dream.
Behind black and white,
truth and lie,
there is only
a far origin.

I Am Neither

I am neither Christian nor Jew,
nor Buddhist, nor Hindu.
My being is in their source,
and far older, too.

I look out upon a dream,
and inward upon a fire.

ᎠᏯ ᎨᏒᎠᏎ ᎥᏝᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏧᏁᏁᎸᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏧᏏ,
ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓᏕᏲᏗᏍᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᏁᏚ.
ᎠᏆ ᎠᎴᏂᏙᎲ ᎨᏒᎠᏎ ᎤᎾᏤᎵ ᏗᏓᎴᎲᏍᎬ ᎭᏫᎾ,
ᎠᎴ ᎤᎪᏗ ᎠᎦᏴᎵᎨ, ᎾᏍᏋ.

ᎠᏯ ᎭᎦᏔᏎ ᏙᏰᎯ ᏌᏊ ᎠᏍᎩᏘᏍᎦ ᎾᎿ,
ᎠᎴ ᎭᏫᏂ ᏌᏊ ᎠᏥᎸ ᎾᎿ.

From my chair
I survey worlds
and encompass time.
Both past and future
live in the present,
and become sublime.
I cannot bless virtue
or erase a crime,
but I can contemplate
the underlying
splendor.

ᏂᎦᏛ Ꮎ ᎠᎴᏂᏙᎠᏎ, ᎠᏓᏅᏌᏎ.
ᎤᏩᏌ Ꮎ ᎨᏒᎠᏎ ᎤᏲᎱᏒ Ꮭ ᎠᏓᏅᏌᏎ.
ᎢᏳᏃ ᏂᎯ ᎤᏬᎯᏳᏒᏗ ᎨᏒᎠᏎ ᎬᏃᏛ,
ᎾᏍᎩᏛ ᏰᎵᏆᏎ ᎢᏴᎢ;
ᎢᏳᏃ ᎾᏍᎩᏛ Ꮭ ᏰᎵᏆᏎ ᎢᏴᎢ,
ᎾᏍᎩᏛ ᎨᏒᎠᏎ ᏄᎵᏍᎨᏗᏴᎾ.

Everything that lives, moves.
Only what is dead does not move.
If your beliefs are alive, they can change;
if they cannot change,
they are useless.
